Reform UK Gets £4m Boost from Crypto Billionaire Pardoned by Trump

Share

Crypto billionaire Ben Delo has donated £4m to Reform UK, bringing his total contributions to £8m. This makes him the party's second-largest donor, after Thai crypto investor Christopher Harborne, who has given £15m and £5m to Farage personally.

The donations come as the Electoral Commission releases new figures showing a rise in mega-donors supporting political parties. Reform UK has been gaining momentum, leading in polls due to its recognition of Britain's problems.

Delo, who was convicted for failing to implement anti-money laundering controls at BitMEX and later pardoned by Donald Trump, has given £4m since the start of the year. A source close to Reform UK claims they are confident the donation will not be caught by the new overseas donor cap.
