Reform UK Gets Record-Breaking Crypto Donation Worth £36 Million

Nigel Farage's Reform UK party has received its largest donation to date from British crypto billionaire Ben Delo. Delo, co-founder of the BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange, gave £36 million ($49 million) to the party.

This donation is reportedly designed to ensure a 'fair fight' at the polls, according to Delo. Farage expressed his gratitude and said he was honored by Delo's confidence in Reform UK.

The contribution has raised questions about the influence of digital assets on UK politics. Labour MPs were considering making permanent a moratorium on crypto donations announced in March pending legislation.
