Reform UK Receives £4 Million Crypto Donation from Pardoned Entrepreneur
The Reform UK party received a significant donation of £4 million ($5.4 million) from Ben Delo, a crypto entrepreneur who was pardoned by Donald Trump for his involvement in a banking secrecy violation case.
This donation accounts for 75% of the party's total donations last quarter, which came out to be £5.3 million.
Reform UK is led by Nigel Farage and has been gaining popularity, but its fortunes have taken a hit after it was revealed that its biggest donor, Christopher Harborne, had given Farage £5 million in 2024 without declaring it.
The British government has announced plans to tighten rules on political donations from abroad, limiting contributions to £100,000.
