Remittix Crypto Project Raises $28M, but Transparency Concerns Linger
The Remittix crypto project has been gaining attention since its presale began in December 2024, raising over $28 million through its website launchpad. However, some members of the cryptocurrency community have raised concerns about the legitimacy and transparency of the project.
A review of the project's whitepaper reveals a lack of technical detail and clarity on how it differentiates from established on/off-ramp providers such as Ramp, MoonPay, or Transak. The team behind Remittix has not provided sufficient information on their leadership, with only four core members having completed KYC verification through CertiK.
The project's minimum viable product is an iOS multi-chain crypto wallet that allows users to send and receive digital assets, but it does not currently support the key feature of crypto-to-fiat transfers with direct bank payouts. The Android build is still in development, and no confirmed release date has been stated.
