Remixpoint Abandons Altcoin Holdings for All-Bitcoin Strategy
Remixpoint, a Japan-listed company, has made significant changes to its cryptocurrency holdings. The firm sold its entire positions in Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE) on September 1, realizing gains of approximately $379,000 on ETH, $311,000 on SOL, and $72,000 on XRP.
The only losing position was DOGE, with Remixpoint selling 2.8 million units for about $234,000, roughly $21,000 below the token's fiscal-year opening book value.
Remixpoint's decision to sell these altcoins and concentrate its cryptocurrency holdings on Bitcoin (BTC) is notable, as it highlights a growing corporate preference for focusing digital-asset exposure in BTC rather than maintaining a broader basket of cryptocurrencies.
The company now holds approximately 1,506 BTC, worth more than $115 million based on Thursday's prices.
