Remixpoint Abandons Altcoin Holdings to Focus Exclusively on Bitcoin
Remixpoint, a Japanese listed company, has made significant changes to its cryptocurrency portfolio. The company sold all of its Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE) holdings for ¥878.8 million on September 1, resulting in a combined realized profit of ¥117.8 million.
The sale generated a significant profit due to the difference between the selling price and the book value of each asset. Ethereum accounted for the largest portion of the sale by value, with Remixpoint disposing of 901.44672542 ETH for ¥353.43 million, producing a profit of ¥60.2 million.
The company now holds only Bitcoin (BTC) in its crypto portfolio, with approximately 1,506 BTC as its sole cryptocurrency holding. This change is part of Remixpoint's strategy to focus on Bitcoin, which has been expanding since 2024. The company plans to consider using the sale proceeds for grid-scale battery assets, strengthening its finances, and other corporate measures.
