Remixpoint Abandons Altcoins, Dives Headfirst into Bitcoin
Remixpoint Inc., a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company, has made a significant shift in its cryptocurrency holdings by selling all of its Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin. The sale generated approximately $5.5 million in revenue, resulting in a net profit of $736,800.
The company now holds only Bitcoin on its balance sheet, with around 1,506 BTC after the sale. Remixpoint plans to use the proceeds from the sale for growth projects, including grid-scale energy storage.
This move formalizes a Bitcoin-only policy for Remixpoint and reflects a broader trend of companies adopting Bitcoin as their primary reserve asset. The company also earns fees from Bitcoin lending, indicating a maturing institutional crypto market in Japan.
