Remixpoint Abandons Altcoins for All-Out Bitcoin Bet
Japanese listed company Remixpoint has made a significant move in its cryptocurrency holdings by selling off its entire altcoin portfolio and going all-in on Bitcoin. The sale, which took place on September 1, resulted in the firm disposing of approximately 901.45 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million DOGE for a combined ¥879 million. This move netted Remixpoint about ¥118 million in profit.
The sale marks a significant shift in Remixpoint's strategy as the company now holds only Bitcoin, with approximately 1,506 BTC in its portfolio. Remixpoint cited this move as consolidating its holdings around a single-asset strategy, adopting a fully Bitcoin-focused approach for its crypto operations.
