Japanese-listed Remixpoint has made a significant change to its crypto strategy by selling all of its altcoins, including Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE). The company's digital-asset portfolio now consists solely of Bitcoin (BTC), with approximately 1,506 BTC remaining. This move is seen as a deliberate shift towards a Bitcoin-centered treasury strategy.

The sale of altcoins generated ¥117.8 million in realized profit for Remixpoint, with ETH producing the largest gain at ¥60.2 million. The company's 13,920 SOL position also brought in a significant amount, generating ¥49.3 million in profit. However, DOGE was the exception, resulting in a loss of about ¥3.3 million.

The decision to sell altcoins is not seen as a retreat after unsuccessful bets but rather a treasury decision to reduce the number of crypto assets competing for corporate capital. Remixpoint's management stated that they considered market conditions, risk-return characteristics, and their broader financial strategy before making the change.
