Remixpoint Ditches Most Cryptos for All-in Bitcoin Bet
Japanese company Remixpoint has made some surprising moves in its cryptocurrency portfolio. The firm sold all of its Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin holdings on September 1, leaving only Bitcoin as its remaining asset.
The company generated ¥878.8 million (about $5.5 million) from the sales and booked a net gain of about ¥117.8 million ($737,000), according to a regulatory filing. The largest realized gain came from Ethereum at ¥60.2 million (about $377,000).
Remixpoint's decision to sell off its non-Bitcoin holdings may seem counterintuitive, given the recent performance of some of these assets. However, the company has stuck to its strategy and maintains a Bitcoin-only digital-asset treasury.
