Remixpoint Sells Altcoin Holdings, Focuses on Bitcoin
Remixpoint, a Japan-listed digital asset treasury company, has sold all of its Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), and Dogecoin (DOGE) holdings. The company generated ¥878.81 million ($5.5 million) from the sales and made a profit of ¥117.77 million ($737,000).
The sale of ETH resulted in a profit of ¥60.2 million ($377,000), while the sale of SOL generated ¥49.3 million ($308,000). Remixpoint sold 1.19 million XRP for ¥260.43 million, earning ¥11.5 million ($72,000). However, the sale of DOGE resulted in a loss of ¥3.3 million ($21,000).
The company now holds around 1,506 BTC, making it the third-largest publicly listed Bitcoin holder in Japan, behind Metaplanet and Nexon.
Remixpoint plans to use most of the funds from the sales to invest in its energy business and expand its energy infrastructure. The company will also keep part of the cash on its balance sheet to strengthen its financial position.
