Renzo Finance Unveils On-Chain Structured Income Product Renzo Basis
Renzo Protocol has rebranded itself as Renzo Finance and launched its first on-chain structured income product, called Renzo Basis.
The product will be available on Hyperliquid, a platform that allows users to trade perpetual contracts. The initial supported assets are Bitcoin (BTC) and HYPE.
According to Lucas Kozinski, the founder of Renzo Labs, the product works by earning funding rate revenue through holding both spot longs and perpetual shorts. This setup allows users to benefit from fees paid by traders on Hyperliquid, regardless of market volatility.
Renzo Basis features three layers of protection: offset protection, yield protection, and a safety buffer. The product does not use AI for automation but relies on Hyperliquid's proxy wallet (API wallet) to execute trades and monitor strategies with user authorization.
