ReserveOne Closes in on $1 Billion Nasdaq Listing with M3-Brigade Acquisition
ReserveOne is moving closer to its goal of listing on Nasdaq for over $1 billion after confidentially filing Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The crypto asset management firm plans to merge with M3-Brigade Acquisition V Corp, a blank-check vehicle that will enable faster public market entry compared to traditional IPO processes.
ReserveOne's portfolio will include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other cryptocurrencies with potential yield generation through institutional staking and lending. The company's treasury strategy is inspired by the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve concept, focusing on holding and managing diverse cryptocurrency baskets for institutional and retail investors.
Former Hut 8 CEO Jaime Leverton will lead ReserveOne as chief executive officer, while Sebastian Bea, previously of Coinbase Asset Management, joins as president and head of investment. The SPAC structure allows for a new pathway for cryptocurrency investment through established financial markets.
