Revolut has launched EURR, its first stablecoin pegged to the Euro. The token will be available initially in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal, with plans to expand to other European Economic Area markets later this year.

EURR is designed to maintain a value of €1.00 and is backed by reserves held by Bridge, an EU-licensed issuer owned by Stripe. Revolut's move comes after the company delisted USDT due to regulatory and risk concerns just two months ago.

The launch highlights growing interest in stablecoins among traditional financial institutions, with potential use in cross-border payments, business transactions, and tokenized markets driving demand.
