Revolut Exposes High-Net-Worth Client Data in Targeted Attack
Fintech company Revolut has allegedly leaked customer data after mistakenly responding to a fraudulent government information request as if it were legitimate, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT.
The exposed information reportedly includes names, contact details, identity documents, verification selfies, IBANs, bank statements, withdrawal records and transaction histories, including Bitcoin transfers.
The number of affected accounts appears limited so far, but the incident raises concerns about data security and customer trust in fintech companies.
