Revolut Hackers Threaten to Release More Customer Data for Ransom

The Revolut hack has taken a darker turn as attackers threaten to release even more sensitive customer data unless the company pays them a ransom.

According to reports, the hackers have already leaked details about tennis player Alexander Shevchenko and Felix Römer, CEO of crypto casino platform Gamdom, including selfies and copies of their identity documents.

The attackers claim they will continue to release customer information every day until Revolut pays them for their data, putting thousands of customers at risk of identity theft and targeted attacks.

Revolut has confirmed that the attack did not involve any hacking of its central system but rather sophisticated impersonation fraud carried out by external attackers.
