Revolut Hit by Data Leak Targeting High-Net-Worth Clients

Fintech company Revolut has allegedly leaked customer data after mistakenly responding to a fraudulent government information request, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT.

The exposed information reportedly includes names, contact details, identity documents, verification selfies, IBANs, bank statements, withdrawal records and transaction histories, including Bitcoin transfers.

The incident appears to have targeted high-net-worth individuals, but the exact number of affected accounts is not clear at this time.

Several users who were reportedly affected by the data leak have received notification emails from Revolut.
