Revolut Lists $ZAMA Token Across European Economic Area
Zama's native $ZAMA token has been listed on Revolut across the European Economic Area, giving the blockchain project access to over 70 million customers. This listing allows existing users to purchase the token without opening another account or completing additional identity checks.
Revolut's support extends beyond buying and holding the asset; users can also withdraw $ZAMA to self-custody wallets because Revolut supports onchain cryptocurrency transfers in the region. Zama uses fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) technology to keep blockchain activity encrypted, allowing computations to take place on encrypted information without exposing the underlying data.
The company's work on FHE predates its token launch and has expanded into lending, token distribution, and tokenized assets as it moves the technology from testing into live financial products. In June 2025, Zama raised $57 million in a Series B funding round involving Pantera and Blockchange, taking its reported funding to $130 million and giving the company a fully diluted valuation of $1 billion.
