Ridima Brings XRP Conversion to Nigeria and Ghana
The XRP Ledger has found new utility in Nigeria and Ghana thanks to its partnership with XRPL Africa. The problem that XRP holders faced in these markets was not sending the cryptocurrency, which is done in seconds at almost no cost, but rather converting it into fiat currency.
Ridima, a Nigerian platform for converting crypto and gift cards to cash, has solved this issue by integrating XRP support. Users can now send their XRP to Ridima's deposit address, and the company will pay them in naira or cedis once the transaction is confirmed.
This partnership comes after XRPL Africa ran a creator bounty with a $300 prize pool paid in XRP. Over 100 participants generated over 200,000 organic impressions on social media by sharing their experiences of using Ridima to sell their own XRP.
