Riot Platforms Inks $9.1 Billion Cloud-Computing Deal with Anthropic

Riot Platforms, a Bitcoin miner, has signed a long-term cloud-computing supply agreement worth $9.1 billion with Anthropic.

The contract runs through June 2048 and includes two five-year extension options that could generate as much as $16.1 billion in revenue.

This deal is part of Anthropic's efforts to secure computing infrastructure as demand for AI services increases.

Riot has expanded into cloud computing, leveraging the AI boom, and has also partnered with AMD to build computing infrastructure.
