Riot Platforms, a leading Bitcoin miner, has signed a massive $9.1 billion deal with Anthropic, a prominent artificial intelligence (AI) company.
The agreement will see Riot supply 191 megawatts of computing capacity from its Rockdale, Texas campus to support Anthropic's AI operations over the next 20 years.
The contract's value could reach $16.1 billion if two five-year extension options are exercised.
