Riot Platforms has continued its Bitcoin sales into this year, selling 9,665 BTC in the first half of 2026. This is according to on-chain data from @lookonchain. The total value of these sales amounts to a significant $732.46 million at an average price of $75,785 per coin.

The impact of Riot's Bitcoin sales on market pressure remains a key driver in the ongoing cryptocurrency saga. As regulatory filings continue to surface with details about the company's holdings and past sales, investors are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Currently, Bitcoin is testing its upper Bollinger resistance at $64,388.66, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits at 63.58. A healthy retracement to the 50-EMA support level of $63,661.76 appears probable before further continuation. The MACD indicator also holds a bullish golden cross at 187.02 inside the bands.
