Ripple and SettleMint Launch Tokenised Asset Platform for Regulated Institutions
Ripple and SettleMint have launched an integrated platform for regulated institutions to issue and manage tokenised assets. The partnership combines Ripple Custody with SettleMint's Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform (DALP), allowing banks, market infrastructure providers, and sovereign entities to use one system for custody, issuance, compliance, settlement, and servicing.
The joint platform is initially available in the Asia Pacific region, but both companies plan to expand into other markets as demand develops. The announcement highlights growing institutional interest in unified blockchain infrastructure and addresses a common problem: connecting separate vendors across the full lifecycle of a digital asset.
Ripple Custody will provide policy controls and key management, while DALP will govern tokenised assets throughout their lifecycle. This structure targets regulated firms needing clear operational controls.
