Ripple Asserts Regulatory Infrastructure Strength with Over 75 Licenses
Ripple President Monica Long has made significant remarks about the company's efforts in building regulatory infrastructure for institutions, stating that it has pursued licensing deliberately and accumulated over 75 licenses across global jurisdictions.
This compliance-first culture has allowed Ripple to operate in markets where other companies face legal barriers, positioning the company as a main character in serving enterprises and institutions.
Long emphasized that this approach is 'the right way' to do business, despite it being 'the hard way.' The goal of the company's products, including XRP, is to solve the problem of value moving globally with the same speed and accessibility as information, an idea known as the Internet of Value vision.
Ripple believes it has reached a scale and regulatory standing to deliver this vision to institutional clients, who can now receive the entire digital asset lifecycle, custody, compliance, payments, and settlement, under one roof.
