Ripple Backs Amendment to Enhance XRP Ledger Functionality

Ripple has cast its vote in favor of the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment to enhance XRP Ledger functionality, according to Coinmarketcap. During the early voting phase, Ripple secured support from 8 out of 35 trusted XRP Ledger validators.

The amendment consolidates multiple corrections aimed at improving overall system performance and security, including improvements to Single Asset Vaults, Lending Protocol, and Automated Market Makers.

However, the proposal still needs more votes, requiring at least 29 validator votes within two weeks. Ripple's proactive stance towards the XRP Ledger upgrade has been reflected in a positive market response, with XRP trading near $1.06, gaining nearly 3% over 24 hours.
