Ripple Backs FixCleanup3_3_0 Amendment, Boosting XRP Ledger Upgrade
Ripple has shown its support for the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment to the XRP Ledger, moving it closer to its 3.3.0 upgrade.
The amendment bundles several bug fixes and protocol cleanups into one package, targeting Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, and other core ledger components.
Ripple cast its vote during the early voting stage, signaling strong company support for the proposal. However, the amendment still needs wider validator backing before it can activate, with a 80% threshold required for mainnet activation.
The fixCleanup3_3_0 package covers fixes for Automated Market Makers and the permissioned DEX, as well as addressing Checks and pseudo-accounts within the ledger. Node operators must upgrade to XRP Ledger 3.3.0 or risk amendment-blocked status once the upgrade activates.
