Ripple Backs XRP Ledger Upgrade with fixCleanup3_3_0 Amendment

Ripple has backed an upcoming XRP Ledger upgrade that bundles several fixes and improvements. The fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment, which was recently voted on by validators, aims to address issues in vaults, lending, Automated Market Makers (AMMs), Checks, the permissioned decentralized exchange (DEX), and pseudo-accounts.

The vote for fixCleanup3_3_0 has gained support from 8 of 35 trusted XRP Ledger validators, but still falls below the activation threshold. Ripple's endorsement gives the maintenance package an early boost, although it cannot approve the amendment alone. The proposal must maintain support from more than 80% of trusted validators for two consecutive weeks before taking effect on the mainnet.

The fixCleanup3_3_0 package includes changes to Single Asset Vaults and the Lending Protocol, which are also subject to separate feature votes. Ripple recently backed proposals XLS-65 for Single Asset Vaults and XLS-66 for the Lending Protocol, but both remain below the required supermajority.

Other corrections in the fixCleanup3_3_0 package address precision loss during AMM deposits, withdrawals, and clawbacks, as well as prevent an AMM from being deleted through an unauthorized transaction type. The release also includes changes to node synchronization, online deletion, ledger-delta assembly, and subscription cleanup.
