Ripple Bolsters Institutional Push with SettleMint Partnership
Ripple is expanding its presence in Asia Pacific by partnering with SettleMint to provide regulated financial institutions with an end-to-end solution for tokenized asset operations. The integration of Ripple's Custody service and SettleMint's Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform will eliminate the need for separate workflows for tokenization, custody, and transaction controls.
The partnership aims to address actual commercial needs in the digital asset market, rather than being a limited pilot or technology demonstration. Both companies have already established an institutional client base in APAC, with Ripple Custody serving South Korea-based BDACS and SettleMint operating in markets such as Singapore and Japan.
Ripple's momentum in the institutional market has been fueled by developments surrounding XRP-related ETFs, custodial offerings, and lending growth. The integration with SettleMint further demonstrates Ripple's drive to embed its solutions as core components of financial institutions' entry into tokenized markets.
