Ripple Bolsters Tokenized Fund Infrastructure with Strategic Investments in UK Firms
Ripple has made strategic investments in two UK-based firms, ZILO and Licuido, to expand tokenized fund infrastructure on the XRP Ledger.
According to a recent announcement, Ripple invested in ZILO and Licuido to add transfer agency, issuance, trading, and collateral mobility tools to its institutional infrastructure.
ZILO's new platform combines traditional transfer agency with digitally native asset issuance capabilities, allowing institutions to manage conventional fund units and tokenized share classes within one operating system.
Licuido's platform handles token issuance, distribution, and secondary trading, with tokenized fund units designed for use as collateral. The firm is an appointed representative of Sapeno Partners LLP, which is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
