Ripple is set to attend Stablecon USA in Washington D.C. from September 9-11, just days before the Senate vote on the CLARITY Act on September 15.

The company's stablecoin, RLUSD, has already gained a significant presence, with over $2.4 billion in circulation as of September 3, backed by approximately $2.52 billion in reserve assets.

Ripple USD is listed among approved stablecoins for issuance in New York by the state's Department of Financial Services, meeting specific requirements including segregated reserves and 1:1 dollar redemption.

The federal framework has also evolved, with the GENIUS Act creating a framework for payment stablecoins in 2025, and regulators clarifying in 2026 that qualifying payment stablecoins are generally outside securities treatment under this framework.
