Ripple CEO Sees BIS Testing of XRP Ledger as Validation of Its Capabilities

Ripple's CEO Brad Garlinghouse has spoken out on the recent Bank for International Settlements (BIS) testing of the XRP Ledger. In a statement, he expressed that the move was not surprising, given the XRP Ledger's capabilities.

The BIS is an institution that focuses on using blockchain technology to verify official statistical data without placing the underlying datasets directly on-chain.

Garlinghouse highlighted three key features of the XRP Ledger that make it suitable for institutional use: low fees, fast settlement, and a proven track record. He also noted that the BIS testing is further validation of XRPL's underlying capabilities.
