Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse spoke at the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium about his thoughts on XRP, IPO prospects, and modernizing traditional finance infrastructure.
He noted positive growth in crypto regulations, but expressed concerns about roadblocks in the CLARITY Act. The bill aims to clarify the regulatory framework for digital assets, but its passage is being delayed due to disagreements between lawmakers.
Garlinghouse also discussed the potential for Ripple to go public through an IPO. He stated that the company has been considering this option and is working towards it, but did not provide a specific timeline or target date.
The Ripple CEO emphasized the need to modernize traditional finance infrastructure to accommodate digital assets and blockchain technology. He believes that this will enable greater efficiency, transparency, and inclusivity in financial transactions.
