Ripple CEO Sees Record Quarter Ahead Amid $4B Acquisition Push
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse expects the company to have its best quarter on record due to recent major acquisitions. In an interview with Fox Business, he attributed this performance to a series of strategic moves made in 2025.
The total investment and acquisition amount reached approximately $4 billion last year, including the $1.25 billion purchase of Hidden Road and the $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury.
Garlinghouse also commented on the U.S. crypto legislation, specifically the CLARITY Act, which aims to establish a regulatory framework for digital assets in the United States. He mentioned that due to complications in the legislative process and disagreements among lawmakers, the expected signing deadline has slipped from April to May.
Garlinghouse expressed concerns about policy being used as a political tool rather than advancing U.S. competitiveness. He also highlighted stablecoins as an area of growth, stating that Fortune 500 and Fortune 2000 executives are directing their treasurers and CFOs to evaluate stablecoin strategies.
