Ripple Dominance: Only 7,500 XRP Needed for Top 5% Rich List Status
The XRP rich list has revealed that only 7,500 XRP is required to rank near the top 5% of wallets, according to wallet distribution data from XRPscan. This threshold represents a significant amount of wealth for smaller investors and highlights the concentrated ownership structure of the cryptocurrency.
Ripple remains the largest holder in the wallet distribution data, controlling approximately 38.6% of XRP's circulating supply across 26 accounts. The company has most of these holdings placed in escrow. Major exchanges such as Upbit and Binance also hold substantial amounts of XRP, with balances ranging from 2.6% to 6.4%.
The data shows that the value of large XRP holdings would significantly increase if the price were to reach $3.50 or $5. At a $3.50 price, a 7,500-XRP balance would be worth approximately $26,250, while 44,000 XRP would be worth around $154,000.
