Ripple EU License Sets Stage for Explosive XRP Ledger Growth
Ripple has received its full EU MiCA license from Luxembourg's Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), marking a significant milestone for XRP Ledger adoption.
The company's Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license enables institutions across Europe to seamlessly integrate with Ripple Payments, an institutional-grade cross-border platform.
Ripple noted that with its EU EMI license, institutions in all 30 EEA nations can now collect, exchange, and pay out via Ripple Payments in a single regulated relationship.
The XRP Ledger's adoption is evident by the network utilization, with over 60,000 stablecoin holders and $4 billion in represented asset value, as well as a sharp uptick in total transaction count since August 1.
