Ripple Execs Predict 50% of Fortune 500 Companies Will Adopt XRP by 2026
Ripple's President Monica Long predicts that 2026 will be the year of large-scale institutional adoption for the XRP Ledger, following Aviva Investors' announcement to bring traditional funds on-chain via XRPL. This partnership is seen as a turning point for traditional finance.
The asset manager Aviva Investors is partnering with Ripple to tokenize traditional fund structures on the XRPL. Markus Infanger, SVP of RippleX, described this step as moving traditional finance from experimentation to actual on-chain operations.
Ripple executives predict that by 2026, 50 percent of Fortune 500 companies will have a formal digital asset strategy or hold crypto on their balance sheets, and 5-10 percent of settlements in capital markets should occur on-chain via custodian banks and clearinghouses. CEO Brad Garlinghouse referred to 2026 as the best-performing year ever for crypto markets, driven by regulatory clarity and institutional capital.
