Ripple Expands Institutional Access to Regulated Stablecoin RLUSD
Ripple, a leading provider of global payment solutions, has launched Ripple Mint, a platform that enables institutional customers to mint, redeem, and manage the regulated stablecoin RLUSD. This expansion is part of Ripple's efforts to increase access to the digital dollar for financial institutions.
The platform combines a web-based interface with application programming interfaces (APIs) that allow institutions to automate stablecoin operations, integrate RLUSD into existing systems, and manage digital dollar liquidity across supported blockchain networks.
Ripple Mint gives customers the flexibility to choose between manual and programmatic workflows while reducing operational complexity. This automation comes as RLUSD activity continues to support broader liquidity and institutional use cases.
The multichain expansion of RLUSD beyond its original deployments on the XRP Ledger and Ethereum includes new support for the XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain. This move broadens RLUSD's availability across decentralized finance, payments, and other blockchain-based services.
