Ripple Expands Institutional Tokenization Infrastructure with Strategic Investments
Ripple is expanding its institutional tokenization infrastructure to support financial institutions in adopting tokenized assets. According to Ripple President Monica Long, there has been a rapid transition from bank pilots to production-grade activity in the last year.
The company's goal is to provide the full stack of digital asset infrastructure for institutional participants to take advantage of the entire lifecycle of a tokenized asset on the XRP Ledger.
Ripple has made strategic investments in Zilo and Licuido to expand institutional capital markets infrastructure connected to the XRP Ledger. The investments add fund tokenization and institutional liquidity infrastructure to Ripple's broader capital markets strategy, supporting fund issuance, trading, and settlement on the XRP Ledger.
