Ripple has expanded its examination of quantum resistance for XRPL (XRP Ledger).

Algorand, on the other hand, is aiming to integrate quantum-resistant accounts into its main network by August 2026.

The company also targets achieving quantum resistance in the consensus layer by the end of 2027.

In related news, XRP traded at around $1.43 on Thursday and has dropped more than 50% compared to the same period last year, reaching a price of $1.38.
