Share

Ripple has renewed its commitment to blockchain research at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), extending their partnership through 2027.

The university's Center for Technology, Economics and Development will lead the effort, with professors Raša Karapandža and Yaw Nyarko overseeing the work.

The renewed grant is a six-year extension of previous support, which has already surpassed $1 million in total funding. The exact amount of this latest funding tranche was not disclosed.

Ripple's Senior Director of University Partnerships Lauren Weymouth described NYUAD as the company's 'regional hub' in the Middle East.
