Ripple Extends Partnership with NYU Abu Dhabi Through 2027
Ripple has extended its blockchain partnership with NYU Abu Dhabi through 2027.
The collaboration is part of Ripple's University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI), launched in 2018, which aims to drive pioneering research and foundational education in digital assets.
Senior Executive Officer/Managing Director, Middle East & Africa at Ripple, Reece Merrick, expressed his excitement for the next chapter of innovation coming out of Abu Dhabi.
The work led by Professors Raša Karapandža and Yaw Nyarko at CTED has included expanding the Volta Initiative and hands-on research on the XRP Ledger, turning decentralized technology into real-world impact.
