Ripple Invests in Notabene to Expand Stablecoin Payments for Financial Institutions
Ripple has invested in Notabene to expand its RLUSD stablecoin payments for financial institutions. The investment aims to accelerate regulated enterprise stablecoin payments as new global rules take effect.
The partnership will integrate RLUSD into Notabene Flow, a business-to-business stablecoin payments platform that connects more than 2,300 regulated institutions across over 100 jurisdictions and facilitates more than $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume. This integration is expected to provide financial institutions with a reliable and compliant way to move stablecoins.
The investment also comes as regulators around the world continue introducing clearer rules for stablecoins, including the U.S. GENIUS Act and the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets framework (MiCA). These developments are driving demand for infrastructure that combines blockchain settlement with identity verification, transaction authorization, and regulatory compliance.
