Ripple is set to attend a major meeting at the White House on Wednesday, along with other prominent companies in the crypto and blockchain space. The meeting will also feature representatives from Coinbase, a16z, Chainlink, and Paradigm, as well as U.S. Securities and Exchange Chair Paul Atkins and Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chair Michael Selig.

This is not Ripple's first visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue - in early 2025, CEO Brad Garlinghouse attended the White House Digital Assets Summit. The company associated with XRP has also had a documented presence at the White House in July during the signing of the stablecoin-focused GENIUS Act.

Regulatory uncertainty remains a concern for the crypto industry, as the CLARITY Act has yet to receive a final Senate vote before the August recess. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has scheduled a procedural vote for September 15.
