Ripple executives are rallying behind the CLARITY Act as lawmakers debate the future of U.S. crypto regulation.

The bill aims to establish clearer digital asset rules, with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse urging action and calling it a 'pivotal opportunity' for the United States to set a clear framework.

Garlinghouse described the CLARITY Act as a consumer protection bill featuring stronger anti-money laundering requirements and enforcement tools for law enforcement agencies.

Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, Stand With Crypto, and over 200 organizations have joined efforts calling for regulatory clarity, with technology firms and advocacy groups also supporting the legislation.

Ripple has argued that clearer federal standards could help address regulatory gaps affecting digital asset users, while some Senate Democrats have raised concerns about oversight requirements, consumer safeguards, and financial protections.
