Ripple Mints 15M RLUSD on Ethereum Amid Major Listings
Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, saw significant activity in recent hours as the company minted 15 million units on the Ethereum blockchain.
This move comes amidst major listings for RLUSD this week. On July 28, Upbit announced support for the stablecoin, and Bithumb followed suit on July 29, listing RLUSD with KRW pairs.
The minting of 15 million RLUSD on Ethereum brings the circulating supply above $712 million, with 36.5 million units created in the last seven days and $25.3 million burned. On the XRP Ledger, the circulating supply is $873 million, with more units burned than minted in the same time frame.
Ripple's partnership with Notabene aims to accelerate the adoption of compliant stablecoin payments and create a pathway for RLUSD integration into institutional payment networks.
