Ripple Partners with Florida Gators in Latest Sports Deal
Ripple has announced another major partnership in the US sports sector, this time with the Florida Gators. The news comes less than two months after Ripple partnered with the Kansas Jayhawks.
The new deal will see XRP's logo displayed on the team's grounds, with both parties sharing a video of the logo being painted on the field. According to the partnership details, the Florida Gators will generate $5 million annually from placing XRP logos in the Swamp.
Ripple's CEO was raised in Kansas and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Kansas, which may have contributed to the company's interest in partnering with the Jayhawks. The partnership aims to bring together two organizations that think boldly about the future.
