Ripple Partners with SettleMint for Unified Tokenization Solution

Ripple and SettleMint have partnered to offer a unified solution for tokenization adoption by traditional finance firms in Asia Pacific. This partnership combines Ripple Custody with SettleMint's Digital Asset Lifecycle Platform (DALP) to simplify the management of tokenized assets on a single platform.

Fiona Murray, managing director for Asia Pacific at Ripple, explained that financial institutions want to put digital assets to work without separate systems for custody, issuance, and governance. This partnership provides them with the foundation to roll out digital assets and future-proof them from there.

Ripple has made strategic investments in ZILO and Licuido for a tokenization push, enhancing the way traditional financial assets are issued, transferred, settled, and collateralized in tokenized markets. The company's Ripple Custody already provides institutional-grade digital asset custody infrastructure, expanding partnerships with Securosys, Figment, and integration with Chainalysis.

Ripple is also pushing the XRP Ledger v3.3.0 upgrade as part of its roadmap, placing tokenized real-world assets at the center of its institutional strategy. The company's efforts aim to support the massive influx of traditional capital by integrating robust and compliant institutional crypto custody solutions capable of handling complex ledger configurations.
