Ripple Partners with University of Florida in Multi-Year Deal
Ripple has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Florida Athletics division of the University of Florida. The deal, which is worth approximately $5 million annually, will see the Ripple and XRP logos displayed at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, home to the Florida Gators sports teams.
The partnership is not limited to sponsorship and advertising activities. Ripple will also provide educational support to University of Florida students and student athletes in traditional finance, financial technology, and digital assets.
According to University of Florida Athletic Director Scott Stricklin, the partnership brings together two organizations that think boldly about the future. 'Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology to enhance our fans' experience and advance our programs,' he said. 'Ripple has proven itself as an innovative leader in financial technology, and we are excited to welcome XRP to Gator Nation.'
