Ripple Plants $5M XRP Logo in University of Florida's Swamp
Ripple has signed a multi-year branding deal worth $5 million annually with the University of Florida for its Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, also known as 'The Swamp'. The XRP logo will be prominently displayed at each 25-yard line during games, making it hard to miss for the approximately 90,000 fans in attendance and millions watching on television.
The partnership extends beyond field branding, with Ripple securing digital media rights and in-game presentation placements. Additionally, the company is funding financial and technology education programs targeting student-athletes and the broader campus community.
The reported $5 million annual price tag represents a significant increase from what the university previously commanded for similar field space. In 2025, Florida secured a $2 million sponsorship deal with Geico, meaning Ripple is paying more than double what an established Fortune 500 insurance brand was willing to spend just a year earlier.
This partnership marks Ripple's second major college athletics sponsorship in 2026, following its five-year deal with the University of Kansas Jayhawks announced in July. The deals come after a 2024 NCAA ruling that expanded field-logo sponsorship opportunities for member schools, providing universities with a new revenue category amid financial challenges.
