Ripple Prime Expands into Traditional Stock Trading for Institutional Investors

Share

Ripple Prime has expanded its services to include traditional stock trading for institutional investors. The new Delta One business allows clients to trade total return swaps linked to U.S.-listed stocks, indexes, and digital assets.

This move brings Ripple Prime closer to its goal of integrating traditional finance and crypto markets. The company's president, Noel Kimmel, stated that the platform provides 'cross-asset, structurally aligned, 24/7' services for clients.

The expansion comes with a $275 million funding from a private placement of senior unsecured notes, which will support working capital and growth in its U.S. clearing, prime brokerage, and financing operations.
